The framework
Four states, and the routine that belongs to yours.
Most natural hair advice fails because it is written for a state you are not in. Choose the honest one below. Each module gives you the routine, the products worth keeping, the products to drop, and the stylist service that goes with it.
Loose Afro Genesis
Fresh cut, full length, no plan yet.
You have just big-chopped, or your loose hair finally has enough length to work with. This is the foundation module: moisture, detangling, and the weekly rhythm everything else is built on.
Transitioning Loose Afro
Two textures, one routine.
Relaxer or heat damage is being grown out. The line of demarcation is the weak point — this module holds both textures without snapping at the boundary.
Protective Natural Styles
No foreign hair. Just yours.
Braids, twists, cornrows and bantu knots built from your own hair. The real risk here is tension and product build-up under the style.
Protective Extensions
Braids and fibre, done properly.
Box braids, knotless, faux locs and weaves. Weight, takedown timing and scalp visibility under the fibre decide whether your hair grows or thins.
